The Bible has become the most influential book in human history, yet even those who base their lives around it know very little about it. Non-Christians are typically unaware of the need to be biblically literate and Christians typically only know what their church talks about. If one does actually take the time to learn more about the Bible, they will realize it contains a large amount of overlooked and ignored teachings credited to both God and Jesus. It is full of immoral teachings and portrays God as the complete opposite of love. And a look at the Bible's history and formation shows countless variations and dramatic differences between the Bible we know of today and past versions of the Bible that earlier Christians based their lives around.
