God is love
God is not love
There are two versions of God. There is the loving version we hear about in church which is only supported by less than 1⁄1000th of the Bible then there is the God who is anything but love as claimed by the rest of the Bible. If you time to read more of the Bible than just one verse from the book of John you will learn that God is NOT love. According to the Bible he does not even fit the definition of love given in 1 Corinthians 13 as God clearly "keeps a record of wrongs" or else there would have been no flood, amongst other things.. Virtually the entire Bible describes God as a manipulative and controlling god, one who is fueled by jealousy, anger and violence. A God that is very unforgiving and seeks revenge through bloody massacres and supports slavery, rape, sexism, child abuse, murder and discrimination. Still the author of John was right when he said God is love? Then keep on reading...
Send snakes to kill the hungry
Do you have more morals than God? You can find out by taking this simple test. Imagine you are a god and you just freed your chosen people from slavery which takes no effort on your part since you are an all powerful god. You led your followers through a miserable dessert forcing them to walk on foot with absolutely no water and only miserable tasting food. When they complain about starving and dying from thirst do you A: Magically generate food for them which takes no effort on your part, or B: Magically generate venous snakes to bite them and kill many of them because they simply complained about you needlessly making them suffer? If you chose A then congratulations, you have more morals than God.
In a story from Numbers 21:4-9 that most Christians are unaware of, God went with plan B. When the Israelites complained about starving and having nothing to drink while being led to walk across the desert God "sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died."
The Pharaoh is not to blame
The Real Reason for the 10 Plagues
Most Christians try to over look God's torturing of the innocent citizens of Egypt with the 10 Plagues and the killing of their first born sons by putting the blame on the Pharaoh but there are two major problems with this. The most obvious is that if God was loving he would have only punished the Pharaoh for the Pharaoh's decisions and not the innocent citizens born into his rule with no control or influences over his decisions.
The most disturbing is the overlooked real reason why God made the innocent Egyptians suffer. It is true that God, according to the Bible, would stop making the innocent suffer if the Pharaoh would simply let the Hebrews go BUT what they don't tell you in church is that God also specifically hardened the Pharaoh's heart (Exodus 4:21 & 9:12) and would not allow the Pharaoh to free the slaves even if he wanted to. This is like telling a person you will stop burring his family alive if he would simply say "stop" but only after you duct taped his mouth shut.
So what is the real reason for God's cruel methods? In Exodus 10:1 we are told that God caused all of this suffering and made the suffering continue at the expense of the innocent Egyptians simply so he could show off his powers. What an @$$.
Women < Men
God is a Sexist
1 Corinthians 11:3 - "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." During prayer a man dishonors his head if it is covered, a woman dishonors her head if it is not covered. - 1 Corinthians 11:4-7 • Woman must learn in silence with all subjection. A woman must not teach or usurp authority over man. - 1 Timothy 2:11-12 • Women must keep silent in churches and are not permitted to speak. If they have questions they must ask their husbands at home. - 1 Corinthians 14:34-35
Man is to Rule over Woman
Woman's desire is to be to her husband and he shall rule over her. - Genesis 3:16 • Woman must submit themselves to their husbands. - Colossians 3:18 & Ephesians 5:22-24 • As the church is subject to Christ, wives are subject to their husbands. The husband is the head of the wife. - Ephesians 5:22-24 • The head of Christ is God, the head of man is Christ and the head of woman is man. - 1 Corinthians 11:3 • Man is the glory of God but woman is the glory of man. - 1 Corinthians 11: 7
Women Are Property of Man
Women are listed alongside other property in the Bible. - Exodus 20:17, Numbers 31:32-35 & Deuteronomy 21:10-14 • It is ok to buy women - Exodus 22:16-17 • It is ok to sell women - Exodus 21:7-11 & 22:16-17 • It is ok to have women raped for sakes of punishing their owner, man. - 2 Samuel 12:11, Zechariah 14:1-2 & Isaiah 13:15-18

Mass Murder
God makes Hitler look like a hippie
The Bible tells us that God supports and orders mass genocide in his name. It is said he ordered all of the men in Babylon to be thrusted through with a sword as told in Isaiah 13:15. In Judges 14:19-20 Samson promised to give 30 Philistines robes for answering a riddle correctly. Instead of buying or making robes God posses Samson and causes him to kill 30 men and take their robes for the prizes. Is that really the type of god that is worthy of worshiping?
What about a god that ordered the slaying of all men, women, infants and babies along with all livestock, do you honestly support such a god as described in 1 Samuel 15:2-3? The god of the Bible has even commanded mass genocide on a scale far worse than Adolf Hitler. One example is Deuteronomy 20:16-17 where God commands his people to kill every single person (and animal) among the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites and orders them to take over their towns. The majority of deaths in the Bible do not provide an exact body count but even if you only look at the documented cases we are still left with 2,270,365 deaths caused by God in the Bible. Compare that to the mere 10 people killed by Satan which were even approved by God. For a full list of all documented deaths in the Bible click here.
The list goes on
More examples of a heartless god
Creator of DisastersIsaiah 45:7 & Amos 3:6 even says God personally creates disasters but this goes without saying since God is the creator of everything.
Angry & Violent
Nahum 1:2 tells us the Lord is revengeth, furious and will take vengeance on his adversaries. Exodus 32:10 talks about his anger against the Hebrews and that he'll destroy them. The Bible is filled with claims of God's wrath and anger. The Great Flood, Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah are just some well known examples.
Not all-loving
If you read Malachi 1:2-3 you can read about God's love as he mentions the he loves Jacob. But if you keep reading he goes on to say that he hates Jacob's brother Esau. Yes, God straight up said he hated someone in the Bible, which would mean he is not all-loving.
Romans 9:13 - "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."
Hosea 9:15 - "All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them..."
Proverbs 6:16 - "These six things doth the LORD hate..."
Unforgiving
People say God is so forgiving but the flood story alone proves that wrong. God even holds grudges. Exodus 20:5 tells us he is unforgiving to people based on what their great grandparents did even though Ezekiel 18:20 says he wouldn't do such a thing. Nothing can demonstrate how truly unforgiving God is more than Hell. The Bible says he created a place just for the sakes of torturing people he disapproves of FOR ALL OF ENTERNITY! That is thee greatest grudge of all times.
Supporter of SlaveryIn the Bible God shows his support of slavery by telling slaves how to behave (1 Timothy 6:1-2, Colossians 3:22, Titus 2:9) and to fear their masters (1 Peter 2:18-21, Ephesians 6:5-5). Exodus 21:20-21 and Luke 12:46 even says to beat our slaves as long as they don't die from the whippings and in Deuteronomy 20:10-11 and Leviticus 25:44-46 God even orders the capturing of new slaves. The Bible even has God laying out rules of how to sell your own daughters as slaves in Exodus 21:7-10.

God Orders Rape
The Bible tries tells us that God not only supports rape but demands it and uses the rape of innocent women as a means for punishing the men they belong to - 2 Samuel 12:11, Zechariah 14:1-2 & Isaiah 13:15-18

Jealous
In Exodus 34:14 & Nahum 1:2 we are told that God is a jealous god. In Zecharia 8:2 God says he is jealous of Zion. How could such a divine, all-knowing, creator of everything god be jealous? Jealousy is a human trait, what is he so insecure about?
Creator of Not So Loving Laws
In Leviticus and Deuteronomy God lays down some not so loving rules such as kill any child who back talks, kill any adulterer and their adulteress, kill prophets, kill any homosexual, have prostitutes burned in a fire, stone to death anyone who denies the God of Abraham. None of these so called crimes are worthy of a murderous death sentence yet this is how the supposedly all-loving God wants things handled in the Bible.
Cruel Jerk
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 tells us that God personally causes people to believe falsehoods so he can condemn them.
