Crazy Jesus

Many Christians call Jesus the 'Prince of Peace' and say that he is all-loving but are these claims based strictly on what their church tells them or what the scriptures say? According to the Gospels and the Bible it's self Jesus was far from being all-loving. Not only does Jesus go crazy and condemn a fig tree for not having fruit for him when he wanted some but Jesus also tells his followers to murder those who don't want to worship him. Most overlook the parts of the Bible where Jesus is incredibly rude to his mother, demands self mutilation, tells you to hate your family, supports slavery, lies to his followers, says he has come to bring not peace but division and where he says you must follow all the violent bloody laws of the Old Testament as long as the Earth and Heaven still exits.

01.
Crazy Jesus
In Matthew 21:18-19 when a fig tree doesn't have a fig for him to death Jesus condemns the tree to death. This is not a parable. Jesus says to the fig tree, "May you never bear fruit again!" and immediately the tree withered. Just because a tree did not bear fruit when Jesus was hungry he made sure the tree could not bear fruit for anyone else who may be hungry. So much for turning the other cheek.

02.
Division Not Peace
In Luke 12:51-53 & Matthew 10:34-35 Jesus says he has not come to bring peace on earth but rather division. He has come to divide father and son along with mother and daughter against each other.

04.
Burn the World
In Luke 12:49 Jesus says he has come to set the world on fire.

03.
Jesus is a Liar
In Matthew 21:21 Jesus says that if you have faith in him with no doubt that simply by praying you can cause fig trees to instantly die and also cause mountains to magically be thrown in the sea yet not a single person with faith in Jesus actually has the power to do this.

Also, throughout the Bible Jesus says the end times and second coming of Jesus will happen very soon. This was said to the people 2,000 years ago. Granted, soon can be taken relatively but Jesus also tells his followers over 2,000 years ago in the book of Matthew (16:28, 23:36, 24:34) that these events will happen during their generation. Over 2,000 years have passed, the people of that generation are long gone and the events Jesus said would happen 2,000 years ago still have yet to happen.

05.
Worship Me or Die
In Luke 19:26-27 Jesus tells his followers to bring those who do not want to worship him in front of him and to slay them before him!

06.
Old Laws
In Mathew 5:17-20 Jesus says that we must follow the violent old laws as long as the Earth and Heaven still exist.

07.
Sexist Jesus
In John 2:1-5 while at a wedding Jesus' mother comes up to him saying they were out of wine. How does Jesus respond to his mother? By saying "Woman, what have I to do with thee?"

08.
Sell Everything
In Luke 18:18-22 Jesus says that you must sell every single thing you own before he will allow you into Heaven.

09.
Slavery
In Luke 12:47 Jesus not only supports slavery but tells masters to beat their disobedient slaves. In 1 Peter 2:18 he tell slaves to obey and fear their masters.

10.
Love Only Me
In Matthew 10:37 Jesus says that you are not worthy of him or Heaven if you love anyone, including your own parents or children, more than you love him.

11.
Family Values
In Luke 14:26 Jesus says you cannot be one of his followers if you do not hate your father, mother, wife, children, siblings or even your own life.

12.
Self Mutilation
In Matthew 5:29-30 Jesus says you must gouge out or cut off any body part that may have caused you to sin before you can enter Heaven.
